With many different volunteer opportunities available, each with varying time commitments, there is something of interest for everyone! Whether you have a few hours or more to give, your support is always appreciated.

Ambassadors

Volunteers greet new visitors, conduct tours of the building, and explain the various activities that take place at the Center each week. Ambassadors help newcomers feel welcome. Times are flexible.

Arts & Crafts Leader

Do you have a creative idea to share? Consider leading a weekly or monthly craft class. Help others explore their artistic talents! Times are flexible.
 
Computer Instructors

Assist others in the computer lab at the Center. Volunteers are needed to teach skills such as emailing, using search tools, and navigating social networks. Times and days are flexible.

Decorating Committee

Volunteers assist with seasonal decorating, party setup, and clean-up after events. The time commitment varies according to project needs.
 
Holiday/Birthday Helpers

Help prepare cards, gifts, and participate in singing special birthday songs during our monthly birthday celebrations.
 
Kitchen Assistants

Volunteers support the lunch service by rolling silverware, serving food, and cleaning up after meals. Volunteers can sign up as regulars or substitutes. Time commitment is based on task.
 
Newsletter Team

Help prepare the monthly newsletter by collating, folding, and labeling for mailing. The newsletter team is always looking for dedicated volunteers.
 
Special Events

Volunteers assist with special events throughout the year, including fundraisers like BINGO and outreach programs. Hours and days vary, and include evening and weekend hours.

Sunshine Committee

Volunteers send cards to members for events like birthdays, sympathy, or congratulations. These cards are provided by the Center, and volunteers help keep staff informed about events in members' lives.
